Praia da Vitória, no. 14A, in Lisbon, with the NCPI 502 678 739; and LIVRIMPOR – Livros Técnicos, Lda., with head office in Rua D. Estefânia, no. 183, r/c dto, in Lisbon, with NCPI 502 680 075, are the owners of the websites www.lidel.pt, www.fca.pt and www.pactor.pt, hereinafter designated by "LIDEL Group websites”.1. Terms
The terms are agreed between LIDEL – Edições Técnicas, Lda., with head office in Rua D. Estefânia, no. 183 r/c dto., with NCPI 500 165 491, and the users/clients of the LIDEL Group websites.
To do a purchase, the user must always be registered in one of the LIDEL Group websites, and fill in the mandatory data of the presented form, data that should be current and valid. You will receive an email confirming your registration.2.2
The data are strictly personal and all the collected information from the user will not be communicated or sold to a third party.
When the user wants to change its data, or in case of forgetting the password, the changes can be done at "My Account".3. Orders
All the purchases are subjected to the availability on stock. In case there is no availability, the user will be informed by email within 48 hours. This period of time can be extended in case of non-working days.
In cases that it is not possible to deliver the order, in whole or in part, after the user has already done the payment, the value of the products not delivered will be refunded within 15 days. The client can choose to receive the amount through a shopping voucher to be used in one of our websites, or by bank transfer to his IBAN.
The orders are valid for a period of 15 days, except when placed in the scope of a promotional action that defines a different period. In case that the payment of the orders is not received in the period of time mentioned above, the order will be cancelled.
All orders are sent together with an invoice stating the total amount of the purchase, in Euros. The invoicing data are full responsibility of the user, and are not subjected to changes after the invoice issue. 4. Promotions, Discounts, Campaigns and Vouchers
Promotion discounts: promotional pricing offers offering sales at a lower price or at more advantageous conditions that the habitual ones, using percentile discounts on the retail price, aimed to boost the sales of certain products or the launch of a new product, as well as to drive overall business. 4.2
Applicable price reduction conditions are provided on different pages, such as product records, store frontpages and search results.4.3
Unless specified otherwise, all promotions are available for a limited time specified on the website footer, and are not offered at the same time as sales actions.
Other campaigns: beside the discounts, the LIDEL Group will develop in the websites other campaigns with several types of benefits for the client - shipping charges offers, reduction of the shipping charges, voucher offers, among others, dully stated at the shopping cart or in the banners on the website.
Percentage vouchers: represent a percentage discount that will be applied to the total amount. This discount can not be combined with any other discount, so in case there is a promotion the website will choose the most advantageous situation for the client.
Discounts are applied to product prices and shipping costs without VAT.
Fixed value vouchers: represent a sum of money that will be deducted on the total amount. Vouchers can be provided to costumers in case of refunding, sweepstakes or other LIDEL Group initiatives. Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be converted to cash. If the purchase amount is less than the value of the voucher, there will be no refund of the difference.
Vouchers can be single-use or multiple uses and are valid for a limited period, according to information provided by LIDEL Group.
The customer can only use one voucher per order.
The user should finish the order with the promotion visible in the shopping cart, to assure that he will profit from the several benefits.
In case the user has selected the method of payment by ATM or bank transfer, the LIDEL Group commits to keep the discounts, as long as the payment is done within 7 days, at the most, counting from the date of the order. After this period, the order will be canceled.5. Prices and Payment
The stated prices are expressed in Euros and include VAT in force in Portugal at the date of the order, excluding shipping charges, which will be present before finalizing the purchase, after selecting the way of shipping.
The prices can change without previous notice. The amount to be paid by the user will always be the price stated when ordering, adding the amount corresponding to the shipping charges.
To finalize your purchase you should always do the payment of the products through credit card, ATM or bank transfer.
The computer records will function as prove of the communications, orders and payments done between the parts.
In case the client selects the method of payment by bank transfer, the order will only be processed after reception of the due proof in the email firstname.lastname@example.org (national orders) or email@example.com (international orders).
The present terms are applied during the period during which the online service is active in the LIDEL. 6. Deliveries
The delivery cannot be done to post office boxes.
LIDEL commits to deliver the product as soon as possible, according to the periods stated in the page Frequently Asked Questions.
The orders are delivered through a transportation company, according to the information presented in the page Frequently Asked Questions.7. Returns
The client has up to 14 days after reception of the order to exchange/return the product, except during promotions periods, where only its exchange is allowed. We do not accept eBook returns.7.2 The products for exchange/return must be in perfect conditions, as they were delivered, keeping the original packaging and with the respective two copies of the invoice.
7.3 To make an exchange/return, the client must contact LIDEL via the email firstname.lastname@example.org (national orders) or email@example.com (international orders), stating the reason for exchange/return.
7.4 The shipping charges regarding exchanges/returns are paid by the client.
7.5 There will be no place for refunding of lost products during the return process.
7.6 In case of a return, the client will be refunded within 15 days, at the most, counting from the reception date of the returned product(s). The client can choose to receive the amount through a shopping voucher to be used in one of our websites, or by bank transfer to his IBAN.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 All the elements of the LIDEL Group websites are protected by copyright and are owned by the companies of the Group. Any element, where it is graphic, text or sound, used without the consent of the LIDEL Group companies will be object of a civil suit.
8.2 The additional materials and errata available for download in the LIDEL Group websites are part of the books/eBooks and can only be downloaded after the purchase of the respective publications. By downloading, the user compromises himself not to diffuse or share with a third party the content of that material.
9. Responsibility and Disclaimers
9.1 The user accepts that he/she can only use the LIDEL Group websites to do consultations or orders that are legitimate and will not place orders of speculative, false or fraudulent nature.
9.2 The user guarantees that the personal data provided are real and exact and commits to keep them updated via the page "My Account".
9.3 Any fraudulent entering or extraction of information from the database, partial or total, will be object of civil suit.
9.4 The user declares that he/she is 18 years old or older and has legal capacity to enter into contacts.
9.5 The LIDEL responsibility regarding any product purchased via the LIDEL Group websites is exclusively limited to the respective price of purchase.
10. Alternative Dispute Resolution
